Wellness: Workplace wellness programs reduce employer healthcare costs and enhance productivity. Our wellness program involves assessment and preventative measures with ongoing education, which empowers the employees to make healthy lifestyle changes.
Job Analysis: By observing and analyzing a job, our therapists can determine an accurate job description and the physical abilities a worker will require to perform the job safely. Ergonomic recommendations will also be provided.
Education and Training: A job analysis can identify the need for education and training in functional aspects of the job, including proper lifting technique.
Fitness and Conditioning: Programs can be designed to increase strength and endurance, reducing risk of injury, especially in aging workers.
Post-Offer Testing: Offers assurance that an employee can perform the essential functions of the job to reduce risk of injury.
Faster Return to Work Process
Early Intervention/Job Modification: To eliminate time lost while a patient is in therapy, a Job Function Test can determine which specific tasks can continue to be done for early return to work. As healing progresses, this continues to upgrade the worker until he/she is back to full duty.
Therapy Treatment: When a therapist knows what functions should be emphasized in the treatment plan, it adds work readiness to traditional treatment and reduces unnecessary medical care and cost.
An Aging Work Force: Aging processes change physical abilities. This could increase risk of injuries. We can assist in modification options so valued workers can be retained to work safely and productively.
